[Construction Example] Shuri High School General Classroom Building Renovation Project Temporary Access Road

It is difficult to secure the delivery route for the renovation of the school building! A temporary delivery route has been secured with embankment in an off-site area.

In this project, we will secure a temporary access route with embankment in the off-site space. Originally, the design included vertical piles with horizontal sheet piles (L = 1.5m), but since using L = 1.5m would require a greater number of vertical piles and there is a possibility of underground remains, there was a request to reduce the number of vertical piles as much as possible. We discussed the possibility of using quick soil retention panels with L = 3.0m. Previously, it was mentioned that there was a successful implementation of this method at another site for the client, which facilitated smooth discussions and led to an order. We provided a strength calculation report for the 3.0m deep soil retention panels. Regarding the vertical piles supporting the panels, we requested the client's lender to consider horizontal sheet piles with 3.0m panels, and it was determined that by adding 1m (from 4m to 5m) for the embedment, it would be feasible to proceed with the construction. **Key Points of the Construction:** - Difficulties in securing access routes for the renovation of a high school building. - Temporary access route secured with embankment in the off-site space. - Equipment used: Quick soil retention (BOX type). *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*

[Construction Case] Installation Work of Combined Treatment Sewage System

Changed to a construction method that creates a large pit! Quick soil retention is adopted for the installation of a large combined sewage treatment tank!

This is an example of a private construction project that involves renovating a property acquired from public housing into a company dormitory. The initial design called for open excavation without soil retention, but it was deemed impractical due to the proximity of buildings. Therefore, "Quick Soil Retention BOX-type Panels" along with "Vertical Beam Connection Fittings" and "Long Support" were used. The construction method was changed to create a large pit, measuring 7.5m in length, 3.5m in width, and 3.5m in depth, using 350mm square H-beams for belly support. 【Equipment Used】 ■ Long Support ■ Quick Soil Retention (BOX type) ■ Vertical Beam Connection Fittings *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
